Pediatric healthcare is provided on a walk-in, no appointment basis for acute non-life or limb threatening illness or injury. This is supplemental to the Primary Care Pediatrician’s practice and takes place outside of normal office hours.
Treatment is provided by a board certified, or board eligible Pediatrician (with at least 3 years of pediatric experience), nurses and medical or physician assistants.
The wait time is typically much less than that at the Emergency Department of hospitals, with the services offered at a fraction of the cost.
We are equipped to stabilize a child that requires emergency services if absolutely necessary. Although this is not ideal, we will then transfer them to the appropriate tertiary care facility.
We can also facilitate admission to the hospital if the need arises.
